Jeff is a Certified Senior Advisor with more than 20 years of experience.  He has established a reputation within the industry as someone who serves his client’s goals by building individual financial strategies that reduce their financial risk, maximize their monthly income as well as take advantage of tax strategies to minimize the impact of income, capital gains and estate taxes.  

Julie G. Leonard
Julie is a licensed insurance agent with over 17 years of experience working in the life and health care industry.  She specializes in Life Insurance, Long Term Care and Medicaid planning strategies to help Seniors mitigate the financial risk as they grow older.

Managing Principal and Investment Advisor Representative

Jeff is the founder and Managing Principal of Leonard Financial Group, a Registered Investment Advisor firm providing fiduciary financial planning services for east and central Florida.  As a fiduciary for his clients, Jeff is required to act in the best interest of his clients at all times. 

Jeff graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Math minor.  He is a Registered Financial Consultant© with the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants and an Investment Advisor Representative.  He is also a member in good standing with the National Ethics Association. 

Jeff and his wife, Julie, have been married since 1990 and are the proud parents of two children, Hope and James. Jeff is active in the community having served as coach, treasurer and president of the Space Coast United Soccer Club since 2003 and a parishioner of Ascension Catholic Church in Melbourne.  He and Julie believe in giving to the community and have happily sponsored and donated to many local charities.

Principal and V.P. Operations

Julie has more than 20 years of experience working in the life and health care industry.  Her primary responsibility is to manage the day-to-day business operation and ensure the practice is in full compliance with all laws and regulations. 

Julie’s career took her from Southern California to Boise, Idaho where she took a position with John Alden Life Insurance Company in 1986. She quickly advanced in and transferred to the home office in Miami, FL. Where she managed a staff of business experts who specialized in managed care.

Julie and Jeff Leonard have been married for over 24 years and have two children.  Her free time is devoted to volunteering with the kids’ school and soccer club.  In addition, the family is an active part of the Ascension Catholic Church. 

Sanna E.M. Haig

Client Services Representative

Sanna joined Leonard Financial Group in 2013.  She is responsible for client relations, new business processing, and day-to-day advisor support.  Sanna also coordinates the marketing programs and client reporting communications.   

Sanna attended C.W. Post Long Island University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Finance.  Sanna also played soccer for the C.W. Post Pioneers women’s soccer team.

Born and raised in Orebro, Sweden.  Sanna currently resides in Melbourne Beach. In her free time, she enjoys exercising, cooking and spending time with her family.
